About Me<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Hello, dear visitor<\/em>
\nI’m Denitsa Petkova, also known as Denny. I started as freelance illustrator and currently working the mobile game industry. Art is my passion and I draw almost all the time every day and I seem to always have some kind of a story to tell. I’m from Bulgaria and English is not my native language so, please excuse any engrish you come across. I do try to tackle any errors I find but some do slip every now and then. :D;;<\/p>\n

Currently I hope to turn this place into my little storytelling corner and post about whatever comic project I decide to work on next!<\/p>\n

That\u2019s probably not the bright idea, scooping all possible comic ideas into one place but I really want to tell more than one story and even though FanFyria was the first one, I will hopefully tell more comic stories in the future! \u2026 \u2026\u00a0 let me hope time and energy will allow me to do that. :\u2019) \u2026<\/p>\n

Where have you been!??<\/h2>\n

In the everlasting whirlwind of insecurities regarding art quality, performance and general life expectations that I have finally decided to just throw in the trash bin and go back to drawing whatever and whenever I want. In short, I honestly grew terribly insecure about FanFyria. When I started it I had ideas to involve some friends, their ideas, their characters and as life has it, I no longer keep contact with said friends. This left me with gapping plot holes and plot points that were hinted but now I had no idea what to do with. I kept going back and forth and eventually just gave up. I worked on other stories, other projects but it seriously bugs me how I left the second part unfinished. So … looking through my notes, I will attempt a return once more. :D;;;<\/p>\n

Oh, how I wish I could poof into a fantasy world at will…
\nYes, Denny was based on me! The whole world’s inspiration did come from little random ideas I got in highschool and it gradually evolved and so did my writing! Looking back, I would wish to rework some pages or moments but this comic was also a step from the many steps of my art journey. It’s dear for me as are all my old drawings with all it’s little imperfections. So I rather have FanFyria stay as it is now to remind me from where I started!<\/p>\n

Who is L?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Gage L. Stone is my comic editor who helped me with FanFyria. You have to thank him for any of the characters’ funny accents! He edits my word bubbles making sure that all makes sense and the characters’ speech pattern remains consistent. He is also the guy I often go to whenever something in wordpress breaks. He taught me a lot about wording and pacing!<\/p>\n
