This chapter dragged for so long. Excuse the dialogue if it seems a little off. I didn’t run grammar check on it.
I don’t plan on taking weeks of a break but I do plan to have a proper storyboard before I move to chapter 7. Working without one for the second half of chapter 6 was a disaster. e_e;;

But yes, minor changes of my original plan.
Yull is caught, Grumps is KO, Denny thinks she can magically fix things, Windelle probably thinks to make Yull walk the plank while Desmond navigates the ship and Tenzo is… stuck… in the ship’s hole.
Will they ever reach Morland at this rate!?

how can they become better?
when i found this webcomic in the beginning, the amazingly good drawing quality made me stay and the story did the rest to keep on looking for it.

Great Webcomic,
taking a look back to the first pages, Denny’s Apperance changed a bit, but that might be cause of her clothes. The perspectives, faces and every aspect looks great from start on – no flaws that needed getting better.

So – keep going :)

@Avi

I was looking at this page and the other pages…

This one looks so clean…I dunno if its denny’s drawing or she used photoshop to clean some things…anyway…Denny is good..we can see this….I think she’s getting better. makes think she was born with talent ;)

but maybe…am I overestimating her ??? don’t think so….

Thank you so much for the kind comments!
Considering I’ve been drawing this for, I think 2 years now, yeah I should be getting better. *laughs* If my quality downgraded I`d cry. Funny enough I still think I did better backgrounds in the earlier chapters, then again it’s not like I can come up with anything interesting on a ship. ^^;

And yes, Grumps is always angry! X’D

Gah, why haven’t I commented on this yet?! DX

I wish I could say something interesting and helpful about the panel, but…I think every possible angle may have been covered already. Please, it’s Denny. She doesn’t need constructive criticism!

(Oh, and I don’t see how the lack of backgrounds here could really bother anyone. Like you said, they’re on a ship. At night. There’s not a lot of visuals to be had here!)

On the other hand, I am doing some shameless fangirling over here; seeing le character Denny (boy that’s confusing) hold Grumps like that. I don’t know if there will be couples here, or who will end up with who…but I will/have/do ship Denny and Grumps. I ship ’em hard.

There, I said it! My secret obsession is out on the table; now I have to wonder if anyone else thinks along the same lines…

Just a few nit-picky things I want to talk about.

At the bottom of the page are the words: “THE BE CONTINUED”. Is this intentional, or did you mean “TO BE CONTINUED”?

Secondly, the way Grumps is draped in the last panel is bothering me. I keep looking at it, and while it makes sense intellectually, my brain has a hard time accepting it. Maybe it is the sudden 180 turn from Grumps’ point of view, or maybe Denny is too close to Grumps (did she drag him forward when picking him up? did she scoot forward when picking him up?).

The rest of the page is really very good, and I wouldn’t normally nit-pick on things this small. It is just that the page has been up for a while, and I’ve have spent my time (very unproductively) by staring at that last panel, trying to figure out why it seems a little off.

Write the script for chapter 7 quickly, Denny! I check back here almost daily, hoping for a new page.

So so sorry for the delay! ^_^a;;;
What meant to be a week of putting together the storyboard turned into a month.
Then I realized chapter 7 will be the final chapter! Many questions will get answers and many things will make more sense!

So sorry for having to look at that page for so long! Grumps is indeed grumpy for being held so helplessly for so long!
Anatomy isn’t always correct with me, I do draw the pages by hand, inking included and that gives plenty of room for mistakes! Still, a very good practice!
