The page didn`t get Engrish check so apologize if the grammar is off somewhere. ^^;
And additionally I did plan to show how Xavier saves her and the mute guy `s role in all that but I figured it was better not to or leave it for the print version. I thought the chapter already got much longer than planned and it didn`t need the scene shown. ^^;

Hurrah! She’s saved! I almost scared if she drowned too long.
Since when do unconscious peaple have the strength to hold such a grip ? Xavier’s acting suspicious again here. :p
Well, but she passed out full of determination and resolve and all that–I could see her subconscious clinging to those emotions and thus also the heart quite strongly even though she’d lost consciousness– my only issue is that if she has such a subconscious death-grip on it, her fingers should probably still be clenched around it in panel 2. ; ) I’m really enjoying the comic though! Go Denny go!
To me, when you lack oxygen, you pass out fully. A subconcious grip can only work if you’re not 100% unconcious, specially when it is filled with determination. Now, i’m no doctor, maybe i’m wrong. ;)
Xavier saved her, hooray!!! That’s a load off, I was so scared!!
Rahna : Xavier doesn’t seem to be wet anywhere (unlike Denny). I think he WAS worried, but did not dive to save her. Most likely Imp-guy is still floating nearby keeping an eye on them both. :p
You just know, a week later Denny was jumping off lighthouses again just for fun.
But in all seriousness (what, me serious?) hurray she’s saved! And Xavier still always looks so cheerful even after that close call! Excellent job on the last panel especially, I dig the bg.
She did hold on the necklace out of sheer determination, will power… and cause she is too stubborn for her own good. ^^; But good catch Threnodi! I need to fix that panel there. She should be holding the necklace there. In fact I better start taking notes on all pages so far to correct little things here and there before I start forgetting.
