Whew, that took a while, sorry for the wait! L is awesome editor and I hope this will be fun info to you guys!

I missed to mention the question someone asked, about Grumps’ most embarrassing moment? From the top of my head, likely when he had to ask someone to go out with him. Poor guy kinda screamed that out of frustration. XD;

Oh wow, what an awesome commentary! And aww, I saw my name! That made my day. ^_^

I’d love to see some of the concept sketches that might still be around or some of the cute pictures of Grumps and Denny as extras in a print comic– though I’d buy one in any case. : )

As to the ending, it was abrupt to me too, but I think I always feel that way when a long story ends..! If you are adding things, I’d adore maybe epilogues for everyone..maybe Denny getting to talk to Grumps again, just to set the new tone in their relationship now– see them acknowledge one another now that they know what they are to each other. Maybe make it clear they can meet again if they want to, or resolve to meet again if something’s in the way.. I’d love to know! I’d also love to see what Xavier was up to at the end. : ) But I understand there may not be answers or time for things like that, especially with a sequel in the works– as I said I’d be interested to get a copy however you think it is best!

Thank you for the great ride, and the video was really fun! Looking forward to the sequel!

How sweet video you made for us! And your English is very good! I’m not a native English speaker as well. XD
Thanks a lot, Denny and L! FanFyria is really a magic world I want to visit again. And, Denny, you made the right choice not selling your creation, I think they could destroy it and I know how much you cherish it, I used to create some stuff when I was little. I promise I’ll wait for FanFyria II with patience. XD

I’m usually not quite into commentary videos, but lliked that one for some reason. It’s the perfect finishing word to close down the first tome version 1.0 :)

Sival, eh ? Now we have a name for that one too. :)

Man, i completly missed that Yull was resurrected by Denny. Thought he simply got taken down so hard he fainted in his weakest form, namely moth form. And to me, Zenther’s reaction to Denny’s caring of Yull was amazement at her empathy rather than at a miracle. I have the feeling there are other hidden meanings here and there, i should try reading the story a second time some day to find them out.

Which is also a sign of the comic’s quality if you ask me : not so easy to please so much people with a story or a media that they want to go back to it after having done it, not to mention for hunting down easter eggs. :)

Gratz to you both, Denny and L, for this great comic, and see you around on future pages and articles of FanFyria website. I’ll be lurking around, as always. :p

And gratz for the name reference in the video. ;)

I’ve never bought a webcomic in book-form before. However, seeing my name in that video just now, has made me think twice, and even a third time, about buying a FanFyria book. I’ve never been acknowledged by an author like that before.

*Also, I think my name was the longest one listed, so that felt like another win.

I darn near cried upon seeing my name in the list of readers, and not because it was coincidentally placed first. (Though that did make me very happy.) You remembered all of us, and the things we said, and that means a lot y’know?

It’d honestly be hard to not become a regular reader of this comic, everything was so fascinating! I think the only reason there weren’t more of us is that it didn’t get around as much as it should have. That’s kinda sad, so I’m gonna do my part and start sharing this comic everywhere! I admittedly kept wondering when there’d be something on the sequel posted up, so it’s nice to finally have some sort of release date set. xD Sheesh, that’s gonna be a busy month for me. It was also really really exciting getting to actually hear you, for some reason I never imagined you speaking with such an accent, event though your name clearly suggests English isn’t your native language. (I’ve always liked it, have I ever said that? Your name is so pretty.) I’m really really excited for the inevitable publication of this, and you can bet everything I’ll be buying a copy. I don’t care how long it’ll take to scrape together the money for it, I want this book!!

So, uh…yeah, long message. Anyway, the video was really great, and interesting, and thank you again for this wonderful comic. I for one will still be sticking around when FanFyria II comes out!! (For the record, I do miss Xav and would be /thrilled/ to see him come back.)

*blink blink* She said my name…I am a happy Silval!
First, I’m with Darth Killer in his interpretation of the whole Yull dead/not dead thing and I agree with him about rereading the comic. Heck, that’s the only reason I noticed the Levasu-is-not-a-sin thing.
Second, good video to wrap up the ending of FanFyria! And is that new, gold and red character going to be based off L? A new Second Pillar??
And third, great comic all around! I would love to buy a print copy of this when you get around to it! I will wait patiently until September-ish! *sits wagging tail*

Wow, you guys! I’m so happy you like the video. Your responses made all those hours putting it together worth it. Thanks for the overwhelming comments.

I want to point out, though, that I’m just the editor. It’s Denny’s story. I just put some spit polish on it. Aside from a few one liners and some fixed up grammar, it’s all her. The fact that most of you barely know who I am shows I did my job right.

Please, though, keep the questions rolling in. Then Den can do a Q&A follow-up to this.

Questions, eh? In that case, is Miira the muse of Denny’s classroom friend? The one with the black hair that suggests she take notes instead of draw? I was wondering that since she has similar hair and a skull on her sweater…

oh well! That was cute! love the video, made me think about many things

1- Yeah you was strong not selling fanfyria, I mean, You could make some money and get famous and that could have been your door for even more, many artist do that. I read a long time ago in a magazine that many artists in japan, when they are trying to show their story, end up changing some things in the end, Naruto and Bleach are good ones to use as an example. But we are in morden age, we have internet, and I belive you can make your story and win something with it using the internet. I don’t want to say that winning something is the main point. You have your space and freedom to do what you want, like decide if someone is going to die or not ;).

2- well I used to have the same thought about “Killing the Character” . I love comics, manga and fantasy story, along with programming, so I had the chance to choose two paths in my life, the artist one or the other one. In the end the other one Won and I don’t have the free time I used to have to draw and practice so I end up Throwin away a lot of my drawings that I didn’t like anymore or were unfinished, my muse must hate me for some things. I still draw sometimes…not as much as I would like to. you may not have so much free time now but, good luck with your project. after watching you video I think I’ll be back to draw more on weekends.

Great video! I’ve always loved seeing the behind-the-scenes stuff in comics I read (also movies, games, and so on). It inspires me to keep going with my own creative projects (and it’s fun to learn about how something I love was made!).

Once again, can’t wait to see FanFyria II! This world has so much potential for future stories, and I know you’ll make them amazing every time.

The video gives me some new ideas to talk about in that review I was talking about writing earlier. Once I have some time, I’m definitely going to go back, reread the comic, and start writing that.

Thank you all for all the comments once again!
Reading your reactions give me such a boost! Work is slower than I want it to be but I’ll be having a vacation near the end of July which will give me plenty of time to work on the print version. ^_^

@Darth Killer
If a an un-muse is destroyed (being a sin won’t affect the human) the human just never feels the spark of inspiration anymore. Maybe they can re-candle it if they are persistent and work hard on it. =)

@Deko
Programmer, hm? I’m working as artist in small company for mobile games now and I keep getting more and more interested in programming but I really can’t squeeze the time to look into it. ^^;
Oh, don’t throw drawings away! One day you will look back at them and say this was part of your creative journey!

But yeah. Don’t abandon projects and ideas guys, you never know what great story they may turn into! ^_^/

And I’m around, as i said. Weekdays I’m bit too tired to do anything but weekends are thankfully my time. Editing is intimidating cause I’ve never done such a thing before and when I have 200+ pages comic I keep being “Oh my god, where do I start!?” XD;
From the looks of it, it will likely be longer when printed. Looking at roughly 250 pages at the moment.

You don’t need any bonuses in your book – I would buy it as is right now! It is my favorite webcomic by far, and I love the ideas it supports. It has been a beautiful journey to take with all y’all, and I look forward to having it in print.
Thank you!
